Invalid or malformed application: check manifest

description

Creating a fairly simple project with only 1 test. Running Statlight 1.6 gives me this error. Not cleared by any of the advice found on the internet. No information given using --debug. Statlight 1.5 works fine.

Looking over the manifest by eye shows no problems.

I wish I could forward the project, but it's highly confidential!

Discovered this happens when using the latest 1.6 or > builds and not having SL5 installed.

Any chance you could take a more recent build (from TeamCity)? I found a point I was missing for better logging/diagnostics. This might help report the error better.

I'm struggling to repro this. Do you think you could create a small, simple sample project that causes this error?

Thanks for the report. I have experienced this problem as well. No clue what's causing it but it's high on my priority to figure out.
