Statlight with Mef

Jul 19, 2011 at 8:48 AM

Hi,

several tests using Mef fail because statlight tries to load the System.Windows.Controls assembly from the XAP file and generate a conflict somehow.

Could not load file or assembly System.Windows.Controls, Version=5.0.5.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35 or one of its dependencies. The requested assembly version conflicts with what is already bound in the app domain or specified in the manifest. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80131053).

Checking the XAP file shows that the right version is included.

Any help here is appreciated
Thanks

I have not tried doing any testing/builds against Silverlight 5 with StatLight at this point.

If you'd like to get a build that is, you can try the following steps.

  1. Checking out the latest code
  2. open the default.ps1 build script file
  3. edit the "$silverlight_core_assemblies_location" and "$silverlight_libraries_client_assemblies" variables
  4. Executing one of the release .bat scripts

Hope this helps.
